Description

Enjoy a healthy, homemade pumpkin cream cold foam that captures the cozy fall flavors of your favorite coffee shop without the guilt. This recipe uses real pumpkin and natural sweeteners for a frothy, delicious topping for your cold brew.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/4 cup milk of choice (unsweetened almond, oat, skim, or cashew)
  • 2 tablespoons pumpkin purée (not pumpkin pie filling)
  • 12 teaspoons maple syrup or preferred sweetener (stevia, monk fruit)
  • 1/4 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Optional: pinch of cinnamon for dusting
  • For Cold Brew: 1/2 cup coarsely ground coffee, 2 cups cold water

Instructions

  1. Make the Cold Brew (optional): Combine coarsely ground coffee with cold water in a jar or French press. Steep in the refrigerator for 12-18 hours. Strain using a fine mesh strainer or coffee filter.
  2. Prepare the Pumpkin Cold Foam: In a small blender or frother, combine the milk, pumpkin purée, sweetener, pumpkin pie spice, and vanilla extract. Blend until thick and frothy, about 15-20 seconds.
  3. Assemble the Drink: Fill a tall glass with ice and pour in your cold brew. Gently spoon or pour the pumpkin cream cold foam on top.
  4. Garnish with a pinch of cinnamon if desired.

Notes

  • Use cold milk for the best foaming results. Oat milk is recommended for its frothing capabilities.
  • Ensure you are using pure pumpkin purée and not pumpkin pie filling.
  • Adjust sweetener to your personal taste.
  • The pumpkin cream cold foam is best served immediately but can be stored in a sealed jar in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours. Re-froth before serving if needed.
  • Cold brew can be stored in the refrigerator for up to one week.
