Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
- Pat the chicken drumsticks dry with paper towels. This helps the skin become crispy.
- In a large bowl, combine the grated Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, minced garlic, dried oregano, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly distributed.
- Drizzle the olive oil over the chicken drumsticks and toss them gently, ensuring they are well coated.
- Take each drumstick and roll it in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing firmly to adhere the coating. Ensure each piece is thoroughly covered.
- Place the coated drumsticks on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each piece so they bake evenly.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the coating is golden brown and crispy. An internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) is recommended for the chicken.
- Once out of the oven, let the drumsticks rest for 5 minutes. Sprinkle with fresh parsley for an added touch of flavor and color. Serve hot, with optional lemon wedges for squeezing over the drumsticks.
