Instructions
- Combine warm water and yeast in a bowl. Let it sit until frothy.
- Mix in sugar, salt, and butter.
- Gradually add flour, kneading into a springy dough.
- Let dough rise in a warm place until doubled in size (about 1 hour).
- Divide dough into 16-20 pieces; shape into buns.
- Press an olive into each bun for the “eyeball”.
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
- Let them cool slightly before serving.
