Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb thinly sliced roast beef
- 1.5 cups shredded mozzarella or provolone cheese
- 4 large flour tortillas
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon soy sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent sticking.
- Layer the tortillas flat on your work surface. Place an even amount of sliced roast beef and shredded cheese down the center of each tortilla.
- Roll each tortilla tightly from one end to the other, placing them seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
- Brush the tops of the roll ups with melted butter, sprinkle with garlic powder, onion powder, and dried parsley.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes until the tortillas are golden brown and the cheese is bubbling and melted.
- Prepare the au jus by combining beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a saucepan. Let it simmer for 5–7 minutes.
- Slice the baked roll ups into bite-sized pieces and serve warm with the au jus for dipping.
Notes
- Use deli-style or leftovers for the roast beef.
- Opt for whole wheat or spinach tortillas for a twist.
- Choose low-sodium beef broth for a healthier option.
