- 4 tablespoons butter
- 5 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup chicken broth

Instructions
- Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
- In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat.
- Add the chicken breasts to the skillet and cook for 6-7 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter. Once melted, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in the chicken broth, scraping the bottom of the skillet to deglaze it. Allow it to simmer for a couple of minutes.
- Slowly add the heavy cream to the skillet, stirring continuously to combine.
- Add Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper to taste. Let the sauce simmer for 3-4 minutes until it thickens slightly.
- Place the cooked chicken back into the skillet, allowing it to soak up the delicious sauce for a couple of minutes.
- Remove from heat, sprinkle with chopped parsley and grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
- Enjoy hot over your favorite side dish or simply on its own.
