Ingredients

  • 1 (3 oz / 85 g) box lime Jello
  • 1 (3 oz / 85 g) box grape Jello
  • 3 cups (720 ml) boiling water, divided
  • 3 cups (720 ml) cold water, divided
  • Whipped topping or whipped cream, for garnish
  • Halloween sprinkles, candy eyes, or gummy worms, for decoration
  • Optional: Black food coloring
  • Optional: Sweetened condensed milk

Instructions

  1. Arrange 18–20 mini 2-ounce cups on a tray.
  2. Dissolve grape Jello in 1 cup boiling water. Stir for 2 minutes. Add 1 cup cold water. Pour into cups, filling about one-third. Chill for 45–60 minutes until set.
  3. Dissolve lime Jello in 1 cup boiling water, stir, and add 1 cup cold water. Let cool slightly. Pour over the purple layer. Chill for 45–60 minutes.
  4. Prepare black cherry Jello as directed. Add black food coloring if desired for darker layers. Pour over the green layer. Refrigerate for 1 hour or until fully set.
  5. Top each Jello shot with whipped cream, candy eyes, and Halloween sprinkles just before serving.
  6. Keep chilled until ready to serve.
