- 2.0 tablespoons honey
- 2.0 tablespoons Sriracha sauce
- 1.0 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1.0 tablespoon lime juice
- 2.0 cloves garlic
- 1.0 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1.0 teaspoon smoked paprika
- to taste salt
- to taste pepper
- 8.0 small corn tortillas
- 1.0 whole avocado
- 1.0 cup shredded red cabbage
- for garnish fresh cilantro
- for serving lime wedges
Instructions
- Prepare the Tofu: Cut the pressed tofu into small cubes (about 1 inch).
- Make the Marinade: In a bowl, whisk together the honey, Sriracha, soy sauce, lime juice, minced garlic, cumin, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Marinate the Tofu: Add the tofu cubes to the marinade and gently toss until evenly coated. Let it sit for at least 15 minutes to absorb the flavors.
- Preheat the Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 3-5 minutes.
- Air Fry the Tofu: Spread the marinated tofu cubes in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Air fry at 375°F (190°C) for about 15-18 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the tofu is golden and crispy.
- Warm the Tortillas: While the tofu is cooking, warm the corn tortillas in a dry skillet over medium heat for about 1 minute on each side until soft and pliable.
- Assemble the Tacos: Once the tofu is done, fill each tortilla with a generous amount of crispy tofu, top with sliced avocado, and shredded red cabbage.
- Garnish and Serve: Add fresh cilantro on top and serve with lime wedges on the side for squeezing over the tacos.
